Discover our Bear Claw Knife, UHC in second sorting, where minor visual imperfections on the surface add unique character to each knife. Compact and versatile, the Bear Claw Knife is an ideal all-round tool for outdoor adventures. Its short blade provides excellent control, especially when handling game, making it a trusted favorite among hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.

The blade is crafted from UHC steel (Ultra High Carbon) for exceptional sharpness and durability, while the handle is made from stained curly birch, finished with linseed oil for a secure grip even in wet conditions. The knife comes with a handcrafted sheath made from dark, vegetable-tanned Finnish leather, blending functionality with timeless craftsmanship.

The UHC steel gives you an extremely sharp knife that keeps its sharpness for a very long time – keep in mind that the hard UHC steel is not suitable for penetrating bones or other hard materials.

    The Carpenter is the best small bushcraft knife I ever had. Beautiful, comfortable, light as a feather, has a very good edge geometry and factory sharpness, and keeps that edge for a long-long time. And when it's time to strop, it takes no time to get that scary edge back. My other purchase was the Hunter. The handle is a bit too big for my hand, but I love the bladeshape very much. I can definitely see why it is such a popular knife! I will probably buy a blade and make my own handle to fit me better. I will definitely get a Carving Knife and a Roselli Axe too!

No shortcuts are taken – we make everything by hand, from fantastic local natural materials, using old blacksmithing techniques, in a local workshop in Harmoinen Finland. Our products are made from the finest natural materials and raw materials that follow the highest ethical standards. High-quality carbon steel, Finnish curly birch and Finnish natural tanned leather form the basis of all our products. Our locally produced, organic and ethical leather comes from free animals and has been vegetable tanned where only organic material is used instead of destructive chemicals.
