When one of the worldâs most respected rifle manufacturers, Finlandâs own SAKO, wanted to offer a premium knife to their discerning customers, they turned to us. The request was clear: the knife had to match the quality, craftsmanship, and heritage of their rifles. And it had to be made in Finland. We understood the assignment.
Our collaborative knife is a tribute to SAKOâs legendary model 90 Bavarian. This rifle is admired for its walnut stock and distinct pistol grip cap, two features that became the foundation of our knifeâs design. To create a sense of harmony, we crafted the knife handle from SAKOâs own premium walnut, the same high-quality wood used in their rifle stocks. The ferrule at the end of the handle mirrors the signature SAKO grip cap, forging a visual link between knife and firearm. The result is a knife that doesnât just belong next to a SAKO, it becomes a natural extension of it.
Both Roselli and SAKO take immense pride in their Finnish heritage. This knife is handmade at our workshop in Harmoinen, made from Roselliâs premium carbon steel, known for its sharpness, durability, and ease of maintenance in demanding outdoor conditions. This is not a mass-produced knife. It's a collectorâs piece thatâs made to be used again and again, year after year.
